Body Found After Early Morning House Fire in Bellingen

Police have launched an investigation after a body was discovered following a house fire west of Coffs Harbour early this morning. Emergency services were called to Dillon Close in Bellingen shortly after 5:10am, where a two-storey home was found engulfed in flames. One woman managed to escape the property, however, a second resident was unaccounted for. Fire and Rescue NSW crews brought the blaze under control by about 5:40am.
