Around 9:00am, officers from Tuggerah Lakes Highway Patrol responded to reports from members of the public regarding a black Volkswagen Golf with suspicious number plates. The vehicle and its occupants were identified as being wanted over a series of police pursuits and fraud offences across the Tuggerah Lakes, Lake Macquarie, and Port Stephens Police Districts.
