Police have located a body during the search for missing woman Celeste Proctor, 25, last seen in Merriwa on Saturday, 6 September.
She was reported missing after she could not be contacted, prompting Hunter Valley Police District officers to commence inquiries.
Around 3.30pm today, officers searching bushland in Coolah Tops National Park discovered a woman’s body.
While formal identification is yet to take place, police believe it to be Ms Proctor. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
