Firefighters have successfully contained a bushfire that broke out in Cullys Arm near Laguna earlier today, on the 19th of March, at approximately 3:30 pm. The Rural Fire Service (RFS) crews rushed to the scene and immediately started working on containing the blaze, which had ignited in the bushland off Dairy Arm. The fire had spread quickly, but the RFS teams managed to control it despite challenging weather conditions.
Additionally, power lines had been damaged during the bushfire, and Ausgrid crews are working to restore the power supply to the area. The RFS urged residents in the vicinity of the fire to be cautious and to monitor updates closely.
