A man has been charged with murder following an investigation by Homicide Squad detectives into the murder of another man in Sydney’s west last year. Just before 10.30pm on Sunday 15 November 2020, emergency services were called to Budgeree Road, Toongabbie, and found a man on the footpath suffering multiple stab wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency services and members of the public, the man died at the scene. He has since been formally identified as 49-year-old Warwick Hunter.
