Bob Carr has absolutely lost the plot. He has come out and said the unvaccinated should pay for hospital treatment if they contract Covid-19. This has to be the dumbest thing Bob Carr has ever said.

“Follow Singapore and legislate no medical or hospital expenses to be reimbursed to people who are not vaccinated without medical justification and then contract Covid,” Bob Carr wrote on Twitter.

“You ignored warnings and got the disease. You pay for your wilful stupidity, not the rest of us.”

Medicare is paid for by Australians to assist Australians when they need medical treatment. We help those who eat fast food and develop obesity and diabetes. We help those who smoke and develop lung cancer. We help alcoholics who can cause a lot damage to themselves and others. We help the worst of the worst criminals when they require medical treatments.

I don’t understand why it would be any different from those who choose not subscribe to a life of big pharma shots to prevent covid.

Bob Carr is just beginning a useful idiot at this stage trying to drive the left’s authoritarianism agenda and creating division among the community.

I was always a Labor voter. But thank Christ we are not under a Labor government during this pandemic. Otherwise things could have been a lot worse.
