As part these Cessnock City Council covid-19 response they made the decision to close the Cessnock Dump without warning to residents, leaving many residents upset as they have not been able to use this time to clean up their properties and use their dump passes.
Ian Olsen has confirmed with us that Council will discuss the reopening of the dump, and has indicated that if it’s not reopened, he will move a motion at the next Council meeting to have the dump reopened subject to other councillors supporting the dump to be reopened.
