From today, Cessnock City Council can begin the process to get their share of money into their bank account’s to fix local potholes as part of the $500 million Regional and Local Roads Repair Program to fix more potholes.
Through this fund Cessnock council will have access to an additional $1,989,181, which it can put towards fixing our roads.
This is all about fixing the roads you use every day. We’ve all seen just how bad the potholes have become, year after year. Council needs this extra funding so it can fix our local roads. This is about putting regional people first.
Today’s funding announcement builds on the already MASSIVE funding that the NSW Nationals in Government have provided our local councils over the past few years.
