Cessnock and Branxton pools are preparing to welcome swimmers as the summer season kicks off this Saturday, 27 September. Ahead of the opening, lifeguards have completed refresher training, the Cessnock Pool grandstand has received a fresh coat of paint, and new shade cloths are being installed to improve visitor comfort.
For the first two weeks, pools will operate with reduced hours, closing at 5 pm. Season passes are now available for purchase at both pool locations, or applications can be downloaded online here.
Residents are encouraged to get ready to dive in and make the most of the summer swimming season.
