On Monday morning, the Cessnock VRA faced a critical rescue operation in Bucketty following a motor vehicle accident (MVA) that left a driver trapped by compression in their vehicle. The rescue saw seamless collaboration between the VRA, Police, Ambulance services, RFS, and Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW).
Upon arrival, the VRA team immediately stabilized the vehicle to prevent further injury to the trapped individual. Using hydraulic rescue tools, they carefully extricated the driver, who had sustained multiple injuries and was transported to hospital for furter treatment
