Eight workers from the Melbourne Alfred Hospital test positive to covid-19 potentially exposing hundreds of people to the Virus. Five of the eight infections are believed to be from community transmission.
All the workers will be placed into quarantine and contact traces are in the process of contacting all known contacts of the eight workers.
This news comes as NSW has nervous wait on test result from the Crossroad hotel outbreak in Casula south west of Sydney which now has 5 cases linked to the hotel.
