The NSW Department of Education has taken precautionary measures in the face of extreme fire danger, leading to the closure of 20 schools in the South East region of New South Wales (NSW).
The decision to shut down these educational institutions was prompted by the NSW Rural Fire Service’s declaration of an extreme fire danger rating.
