Tragic news from Victoria this afternoon, four police officers have been killed in freeway crash on the Eastern freeway. Its believed police had stopped a speeding Porsche and were planning to impound the vehicle when a truck lost control and crashed into the officers.
It’s believed the truck driver had a medical episode either before or shortly after the crash, the truck driver remains in hospital under police guard awaiting drug and alcohol testing.
The driver of the Porsche fled the scene of the crash.
