Breaking News: GP After Hours Access Services to reopen five clinics, including after hours and hospital services by end of May
GP Access Services have announced that all five clinics, including the after hours clinic and the hospital, will be operational again by the end of May. The clinics are located in Mater Hospital, John Hunter Hospital, Belmont Hospital, Maitland Hospital, Toronto Polyclinic.
This news follows the closure of the clinics by the previous liberal government, which had left the community without access to high-quality healthcare services.
The closure of the hospital and clinics had been felt acutely by the community, with many people struggling to access the care they need. However, GP After Hours Access Services have worked hard to ensure that these vital services are restored as soon as possible.
Patients will be able to access these services with just their Medicare card. GP After Hours Access Services have thanked the community for their ongoing advocacy and support to restore these vital healthcare services.
