A family is living every parent’s worst nightmare, desperately searching for answers after 14-year-old Lakyia Gillison vanished from Gillieston Heights on Monday evening. Lakyia was last seen around 5:30pm on Les Drive. When she couldn’t be reached, her family contacted police, and a search was quickly launched by the Port Stephens-Hunter Police District. But as hours have turned into days, fear and heartbreak are growing.
