A man has been seriously injured following a motorcycle crash in the Hunter Valley on Saturday morning.
At about 9.40am on Saturday, 6 February, NSW Ambulance tasked the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to a motorcycle accident at Giants Creek, east of Merriwa.
The rescue helicopter met with a road ambulance at Denman, where emergency crews provided further treatment.
The rider, a man in his 50s, was treated at the scene by a NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team for multiple injuries.
He was later transported by road ambulance to John Hunter Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
