Hunter Valley Highway Patrol officers are being praised for their sharp work after a 45-year-old woman was caught twice in just one hour driving while disqualified on the New England Highway, Muswellbrook.
First stopped on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, she was issued a Court Attendance Notice. But within an hour… she was back behind the wheel—and officers were ready. This time, she was arrested, charged again, and refused bail.
She appeared in the Bail Division Court the following day, with bail refused until 24 February 2026, facing the possibility of jail time.
💡 Let this be a warning: driving while disqualified isn’t just risky—it could land you in custody without bail and behind bars
