A 27-year-old has had his license shredded and number plates confiscated after being busted exceeding the speed limit by 61km on Friday the 11th of April.
The man was travelling down Wine Country Drive when highway patrol officers clocked him at 151kmph when he is only allowed to travel at 90kmph.
When police stopped the man he said “I didn’t realize” I am not sure if he meant I didn’t realize I was speeding or I didn’t realize the highway patrol was patrolling Wine Country Drive.
The man was fined $2482 dollars and had his license suspended and registration has been cancelled for 6 months.
