An investigation is underway after a man died following an assault in Coffs Harbour early this morning. Emergency services were called to Kurrajong Street around 4:15 am today (Thursday, 26 September 2024) after reports of an assault. Officers from the Coffs/Clarence Police District arrived to find a 41-year-old man with serious injuries to his upper body. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before transporting him to Coffs Harbour Hospital, where he later died.
