Kurri Kurri High School Evacuated Following Threat

Today, Kurri Kurri High School was evacuated at approximately 12:45 PM due to a received threat. Prioritizing student wellbeing and welfare, the school promptly followed its evacuation protocols.

All students and staff were safely relocated to a designated area in the community. Police were called to the scene as a precaution. After thorough discussions with staff and a site inspection, police declared the area safe, allowing the school to resume normal operations by 1:15 PM.

No injuries or other impacts were reported during the incident. Thank you for your understanding.
