In a rapid response yesterday, the Westpac #RescueHelicopter was deployed by #NSWAmbulance to tackle two critical missions.
The first mission led the helicopter to FishermansBay, situated to the north of Newcastle, in response to reports of an unconscious man retrieved from the water. Local paramedics initiated crucial treatment prior to the arrival of the #Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Critical Care Paramedic and Doctor from the #Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team, the patient was successfully stabilized and then airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.
Simultaneously, the second mission unfolded in Denman, prompted by distressing reports of a man who had sustained serious injuries following a fall. Local NSWAmbulance personnel provided immediate on-scene care, after which the #Helicopter Critical Medical Team swiftly intervened to stabilize the injured individual. Subsequently, the patient was airlifted to Maitland Hospital.
