A colossal 200-tonne transformer will begin its slow journey to Origin Energy’s Eraring facility in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
Departing from Mayfield Port, the oversized load will snake its way down the M1, exit at Cessnock Road, continue through Toronto, and finally reach Eraring.
Motorists are warned of traffic interruptions along the route, likely occurring between 1:00am and 4:00am. Authorities advise drivers to allow extra travel time and exercise patience while the transformer makes its overnight transit.
