Missing Child Alert
A 13-year-old girl, Maliyah Drewett, known as “Mali,” was taken by her father, Jack Wood, around 6:30 AM on Friday morning from her mother Kelly’s home in Cessnock. Maliyah is under the full care of her mother and is not permitted to have any contact with her father due to his history of drug use, violence, and domestic violence orders.
Jack Wood, who does not drive, is believed to be traveling via public transport. He is known to frequent the Newcastle, Windale, and Cessnock areas. Authorities and family are urging anyone who sees Maliyah to contact them or Maitland police immediately. The situation is urgent, and any information on her whereabouts is critical.
