Xero, the popular accounting software, experienced a major outage starting on July 30, 2024. The outage affected a wide range of Xero’s core products and services globally, including the platform, settings, invoicing, billing, quotes, bank reconciliation, reporting, projects, fixed assets, contacts, and files. The issues led to significant disruptions for users, who faced errors logging in or navigating the platform
Specifically, the outage impacted various regional products such as tax reporting for Australia (BAS, TPAR), Canada (GST & HST), New Zealand (GST), and the UK (VAT & MTD). Additionally, mobile apps and partner tools, including Xero Verify and Xero Projects App, were also affected.
