Australia’s regulatory body has given the tick of approval the first coronavirus vaccine for public use in Australia.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration says the Pfizer vaccine had met the “high safety, efficacy and quality standards” required for use.
The only problem is Australia only ordered enough vaccines for 5 million Australians which is no where near enough to reach heard immunity and return to normal.
On the positive side Australia has successfully kept the virus in check with contact tracing and fast lockdowns.
