SHOCKING STATION STABBING: Man in Police Custody!
A brutal stabbing at Broadmeadow Train Station in Newcastle has left one man fighting for his life! Emergency services rushed to the scene around 10:15 am this morning (Friday, April 14, 2023), after reports of a man being stabbed in the abdomen.
Thankfully, NSW Ambulance paramedics were able to treat the victim at the scene before he was taken to John Hunter Hospital, where he is now in a stable condition.
But the drama didn’t end there! Police Transport Command officers quickly arrived on the scene, using OC spray to arrest another man outside the station. That suspect has now been taken to Mater Hospital and is currently under police guard.
Officers from Newcastle City Police District have set up a crime scene, and an investigation is now underway to determine what led to this senseless act of violence
