SPEEDING SHOCKER! 22-Year-Old Caught Flying Down Central Coast Highway!

In a jaw-dropping incident on Saturday, August 3, 2024, Brisbane Water Highway Patrol busted a 22-year-old Kariong man for exceeding the speed limit by over 45 km/h on the Central Coast Highway in Wamberal.

Around 4:30 pm, officers spotted a black Holden Commodore Utility weaving through traffic in the 60 km/h zone. Using Lidar, they clocked the car at a stunning 124 km/h before pulling it over. The driver, who produced an unrestricted license, was issued a hefty $2959 fine and slapped with 6 demerit points.

His license was immediately suspended and confiscated for 6 months, and the car’s number plates were seized and surrendered to Service NSW for 3 months.

Stay safe on the roads and remember: speed thrills, but it also kills!
