Yesterday computer modelling indicated that TCUESI would track down the East Coast of Australia and possibly making landfall between the Sunshine Coast and Newcastle.
What a difference 24 hours can make and shows just how unpredictable tropical cyclones can be. New models this morning show TCUESI tracking further out to sea.
The new model now believes that Lord Howe Island will take a direct hit from TCUESI as tracks south and weakens, TCUESI is expected to be Catergory 2 Cyclone when it hits Lord Howe Island on Friday.
As we mentioned before tropical cyclones are unpredictable and this modelling may change.
