Port Stephens SES were responded to a teenager trapped in playground equipment and suffering injuries in Raymond Terrace overnight.
Upon arrival, a teenager was found firmly wedged in an item of playground equipment, necessitating the use of our hydraulic rescue equipment.
Due to their injuries, a delicate extrication operation was undertaken to release them from the confinement, while ensuring upmost care was taken to manage the injuries.
Once the suspended patient was carefully removed from the elevated position, Rescue Operators worked to free the patient from the equipment itself.
The patient was treated initially by SES Rescue Operators prior to the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics.
