Residents in the Cessnock local area have been notified of slight delays to their regular garbage collection service this week. According to the Cessnock Council, all areas that were not serviced during the week will have their bins collected on Saturday 4 March.
In a statement released by the Cessnock Council, residents were advised to leave their red lid bins on the kerbside, so that they can be easily located and serviced. Despite the temporary setback, the company reassured customers that they will make every effort to ensure that all bins are collected in a timely manner.
While the cause of the delay has not been disclosed, residents are encouraged to monitor updates from the Cessnock Council via their website or social media channels. It is also advised that residents do their part in ensuring that their waste is properly sorted and disposed
