A man and a woman have been charged with property, firearm and drug offences following investigations into break-in offences in the Hunter region. Officers from Hunter Valley Police District commenced an investigation into several break and enters at properties in the area including a rural property at Congewei on Friday 18 June and Saturday 19 June 2021 where several items including power tools, machinery and equipment was stolen. Following inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a home on Wollombi Road, Cessnock, about 11am yesterday (Wednesday 23 June 2021).
