Woolworths to shut down 250 in-store butchers
The supermarket giant is slashing 250 in-store butchers, along with almost 500 jobs across the nation.
The move will see only 50 stores across the nation left with in-store butchers.
The supermarket giant has stated that in-store butchers only account for 4% of meat sales.
Some affected workers will be offered a redeployment opportunity within the company.
