A woman has been arrested twice in a matter of minutes after allegedly breaching strict bail conditions immediately upon leaving court.
The woman had earlier been taken into custody for offences including failing to stop for police and conduct considered a risk to public safety. She was granted bail by a magistrate under strict conditions.
However, shortly after exiting the courthouse, the woman allegedly returned to her vehicle and drove away despite being unlicensed—an immediate breach of her bail.
Officers from the NSW Police Force quickly located the vehicle and carried out a second arrest.
During a search following her arrest, police allegedly discovered and seized a large quantity of green vegetable matter, believed to be cannabis.
The woman is expected to face additional charges as investigations continue.
Police have reiterated that any breaches of bail conditions or dangerous behaviour will be acted on swiftly to ensure community safety.
