About 2:50am today (Monday 3 August 2020), emergency services responded to calls for assistance relating to a 30 year old suffering from a medical episode near Bar Beach.
Police responded where a search of the area was conducted, later assisted by the Weatpac Rescue Helicopter.
Police located the woman a short time later near Susan Gilmore beach. At the time she was suffering a medical condition.
Crew from the Westpac Helicopter assisted by winching the female from the location to the nearby Bar Beach car park. She was later taken to the Mater Hospital in a stable condition for treatment.
