Transport for NSW is planning for a future New England Highway bypass of Singleton to improve traffic flow, travel times and safety through Singleton town centre by reduced traffic including heavy freight.

The NSW Government has committed $92 million towards the Singleton bypass under Rebuilding NSW and allocated $2.7 million in 2019-20 to continue the development of the project.

Transport for NSW is now inviting feedback from the community about the Singleton bypass concept design and Review of Environmental Factors (REF).
