Newcastle City Police caught a thief red handed after a failed attempt at breaking into a unit in Wallsend in the early hours of Tuesday morning (Tuesday 5 May, 2020)
Police arrested the 37-year-old man from Elermore Vale shortly after he failed to gain entry to the unit. Police will allege the man was in possession of tools required to break into a building.
Police seized the house breaking implements and he was given strict bail conditions and will appear in court on Thursday the 7th of may.
