Around 4:30am this morning a Cardiff woman awoke to grab a glass of water when out of nowhere she was grabbed by an intruder. The woman tried to fight the intruder off, the intruder then pulled a knife out and stabbed the lady in the back 5 times.
The lady was taken to John Hunter Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
