Hunter Valley Rural Crime Prevention Team – Investigators are seeking information in relation to the theft of 45 Black Baldy cows and their calves and 1 x apricot Limousin bull from a property on the Golden Highway, Merriwa. The theft occurred sometime between 15 September and 2 October 2020. The estimated loss is $130,000 worth of stock.
The cows are branded with ‘RJA’ and have pink management tags with ‘J+A Maben’ in left ear. Their ear mark is a slit out of the top of both ears. NLIS tagged with PIC NF380841. See pics attached of identifying features.
