Lake Macquarie Police have apprehended a man in connection with a series of alleged drug and firearms offenses, culminating in his appearance before the courts today. The investigation, spearheaded by the Lake Macquarie Proactive Crime Team, began in April 2024 following reports of a stealing incident. On Wednesday, 24th April 2024, police conducted searches at properties in Second Street, Boolaroo, and McLaughlin Street, Argenton. During these searches, law enforcement officers seized an amount of buprenorphine from a man at the Boolaroo property.
