
25 Years On: Police Renew Appeal in Newcastle Double Homicide Cold Case
NSW Police are renewing their appeal for information as the 25th anniversary approaches of the unsolved murders of two women found dead in a Newcastle home in the year 2000. Just before midday on Wednesday, 17 May 2000, police forced entry into a home on Doran Street in Carrington, where they discovered the bodies of 32-year-old Susan Kay and 37-year-old Joanne Teterin. Despite an extensive investigation at the time involving detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Agencies, no arrests or charges were ever laid.
