In December 2019 Strike Force Trawler detectives engaged in online conversations with a 48-year-old man from the Hunter, the man believed he was talking to a 13-year-old girl and engaged in sexual conversations telling them what sexual acts he would like to perform on a young girl.
After an extensive investigation into the man police swooped on the house in Williamtown yesterday arresting the man and executing a search warrant, phones and laptops were seized.
