A 68-year-old man has been charged following a fatal collision on the Pacific Highway in Tuggerah last month.
Emergency services responded to the crash around 6 AM on March 18, where a Ford Falcon utility and a cyclist collided. The 44-year-old cyclist was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver, who was uninjured, was taken to Wyong Hospital for mandatory testing. Following an investigation, he was issued a court attendance notice for negligent driving (occasioning death).
He is set to appear before Wyong Local Court on July 7, 2025.
