Fire authorities have warned of extreme fire conditions across parts of New South Wales tomorrow. The Lake Macquarie Local Government Area, along with Cessnock, Dungog, Maitland, Muswellbrook, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Singleton, and the Upper Hunter region, have all been classified at Extreme Fire Danger Risk.
A Total Fire Ban will come into effect at midnight and remain in place throughout Tuesday. Residents are urged to exercise extreme caution and follow all fire safety rules.
