A Newcastle woman has been fined $5000 after mooning the light rail and spitting on paramedics officers from the Police Transport Command stopped the woman because they were concerned about her welfare after mooning the tram.
Police requested assistance from NSW Ambulance paramedics, who arrived a short time later. While they were attempting to load her onto the gurney, the woman spat at a female paramedic on two occasions. The woman was taken to hospital for assessment, but later be issued with the PIN.
