A man is in serious condition and two people are behind bars following a stabbing in North Gosford yesterday morning.
Emergency services rushed to Gertrude Street just after 6:30am, where they found a 38-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his upper body. He was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
A 19-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were later arrested and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Both have been refused bail and will face Gosford Local Court today.
