Police have launched an urgent appeal to help locate 48-year-old Alexander Tumiotto, who has vanished from the Newcastle area under concerning circumstances.
Alexander was last seen on Tighes Terrace in Tighes Hill around 1:30pm on Monday, June 30, 2025. After several days without contact, concerned family members and friends alerted authorities, prompting Newcastle City Police District officers to begin an investigation today (Thursday, July 3).

Alexander lives with Autism, and both police and loved ones are deeply concerned for his welfare.
He is described as Caucasian, aged 48, between 165cm and 175cm tall, with a medium build, unshaven face, dark hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing ripped or dirty clothing and a beanie.
Alexander is known to frequent the Newcastle, Redfern, and Everleigh (Carriageworks) areas and may be using the rail network to travel.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen Alexander or knows of his whereabouts to contact Newcastle City Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
