The NSW Labor has pledged to cap tolls at $60 per week for drivers who regularly use toll roads if they can form the government in the upcoming election.
We are yet to see details on how this will work but we can only assume the taxpayer will foot the bill for drivers who exceed the $60 cap, which will amount millions if not billions of dollars per year.
This deal sucks for the regions who have no toll roads, this means your tax dollars will subsidize those who live in the city.
