It’s been a rocky start to the first two week back at school across the Hunter region, with at least 45 schools having been forced to close temporarily for deep cleaning and contact tracing, forcing teachers, students and parents into isolation.
It’s beyond a joke to expect students to be able to learn, teachers to be able to teach and parents to be able to work if schools keep closing every time someone at a school tests positive to Covid-19. This isn’t living with the virus, this is running and hiding from the virus.
