A 62-year-old man from Metford has been issued a $5000 on the spot after he allegedly spat at the female police officer during a domestic violence incident between two men on the morning of Saturday 11th of April.
During the incident the 62-year-old man approached a female officer and allegedly pushed, hit and spat on the female officer.
He was arrested and charged with assault police officers in the execution of duty without actual bodily harm (x2), resist officer in the execution of duty (x2), and issued a $5000 fine under the Public Health Act.
