Rescue teams were called to Ghosties Beach near Moonie, between Catherine Hill Bay and Frazer Beach, after two divers got into trouble in the water earlier today. The Westpac Helicopter was deployed to the scene to assist in the rescue operation, along with the Central Coast Rescue Squad – VRA.
According to the latest update, both divers have been assessed by medical teams from Westpac and will be transported by road to Wyong Hospital with minor injuries. The Westpac team successfully conducted winch operations, with one diver already rescued and the other being attended to before rendezvousing with NSW Ambulance at Catherine Hill Bay.
